Pacific Cod Tacos – $6 each
One crispy strip of beer battered cod, house slaw, avocado, crema, & fresh mango salsa served on a warm corn tortilla.
Fish & Chips – $16
Two-piece Pacific cod filet hand-dipped in our beer batter & fried till crispy. Served with fries & house tartar sauce. Extra piece – $3
1/4 Pound Cheeseburger – $16
Hand-pressed 1/4 pound beef patty, garden lettuce, sliced tomato, cheddar, & onion on a toasted pub bun. Add bacon or avocado for $2 each.
Reuben on Rye – $16
House-smoked Pastrami served hot with melted Swiss cheese, sauerkraut, Louie dressing & fries.
Two pieces of our famous buttermilk house-fried chicken, served with your choice of 2 sides.
Texas Toast with cheddar grilled on the flat-top, served with fries. (Great kids option!)
12oz of sliced Prime Brisket served with your choice of 2 sides.
1/3 rack of smoked baby back ribs served with your choice of 2 sides.
Slow-smoked pork shoulder, pulled & served with your choice of 2 sides.
House-smoked brisket or pulled pork on a toasted pub bun, topped with our creamy house slaw, served with fries.
Try it all with our platter of Brisket, Baby Back Ribs, & Pulled Pork piled high & served with your choice of 3 sides. Serves 2.

Matthew’s Smokehouse & Deli, formerly the Deer Harbor Inn Restaurant, is owned & operated by Matthew “Chef” Carpenter. Moved to the San Juan Islands with his parents & siblings when he was just 3 years old, Matthew called the Deer Harbor Inn his home when his parents took over the restaurant, then a delicious seafood & steak joint. It was run for years by his parents, & then taken over by Matthew & his brother as the same restaurant, then in 2020 was transitioned to the delicious smokehouse barbecue joint it is today with Matthew as sole proprietor.
Matthew is joined by his wife, Emily, & their four sons, Kaiden, Kirin, Eli, & Finn.
